# thing 23 Thoughts

This application was both fun and informative. I did learn new things and ways around the net. Along with great sites I was unaware of.

Learn and Play gave staff a way to share blogs, enhance and communicate with each other. I didn't have much time to interact with the other bloggers but found it refreshing to see so many staff were "Playing." We have some very interesting and funny people that work for CML.

I did question myself on if I could finish by the deadline. I amazed myself

# thing 22 MOLDI

I like audio books. They allow me to have flexibility when I just can't sit and read a book.

It's a good idea to have digital media available to the public because they can use it on their own devices. There however, is a long wait when downloading.

# 21 thing Podcasting

Podcasting, well I enjoyed the Dramapod.com site. Simply because I enjoy movies and television series. There are reviews on media and music as well as links to other sites.

However, all podcast sites are not free. There are alot of sites out there including music sites.

I don't think that podcasting is for the library right now because most of our patrons are beginners and can just barley get around the basics of the web. More advanced patrons may use it.

It's good to know that podcasting exists.

# 20 thing YouTube

Love YouTube.....

# 19 Thing "tooling around"

I chose to explore StumbleUpon. Definitely not a site for the young or faint at heart.

Some of the photos are graphic and more have adult content. Thousands and thousands of photos from all over the world. A good site to look for graphics and or design projects.

# 18 Thing Web 2.0 Awards

The site I chose was YELP. May not be good for library interaction but fun to PLAY! It is easy as well. I enjoyed checking out the reviews in my area

# 17 Thing

Web based applications are so much fun. Out of all the "things" I have experienced on Learn & Pay, I love this one the best.

Allowing groups to create and share a document makes the tasks so simple. These types of sites should have "web heads" grinning from ear to ear. Creating documents, spread sheets, or presentations are made easy and gives the users control over it. Changes online are seen immediately by all involved. Gives the users the ability to manipulate documents using an edit and save processes.
Web-based word processing sites are the "bomb."
